Redcliffe Library hosted the book launch of the new Elven Jewel novel and at least 70 people attended, including many children in costumes. Kasper, gave a powerpoint presentation and spoke about the new fantasy novel and the experience of writing and publishing a first book. The revised Youtube clip with fantasy artwork was shown to hearty applause.
Paperbacks books were presented to the cover artists; Scott Patterson, Mae Mai Bidlake and Riley Malyon and also the editor, Bill Fox-Taylor.
One keen fan gave a wonderful book review of her experience of reading the novel and eagerness to read the next edition.
We had a delicious gluten free chocolate cake, made by Redcliffe company My Cake Lady.
Many of the audience purchased a copy of the paperback novel and some fans brought their own one in from home to be autographed. There were many participants having a photo taken with Kasper, but these will not be displayed on this public page due to privacy.
A new fantasy art competition was announced for both adults and children this time and will commence on the 1st of November 2013.
